Drabble request meme
Taken from a goodly number of folks on my flist:
The first ELEVEN people to comment in this post get to request a drabble of any pairing/character of their choosing from me in fandoms I'm familiar with. No need to repost at your own LJ; chances are you've already done it. Fandoms include: Tolkien, Harry Potter, Wraeththu, Swordspoint, The Persian Boy, and
maculategiraffe's Slave Breakers 'verse. It might take me a few days to do them all and if this proves popular, maybe I'll do a few more. I won't be a stickler for exactly 100 words. They might be a bit more, depending on how creative you get. I'm all about procrastinating from what I should be doing. :P

Title: Stranger Than Fiction
Fandom: HP
Character: Oliver Wood
Prompt: Secrets
W/C: 137
"Excellent! Just turn your head a bit more… brilliant!" the photographer enthused.
Oliver was glad he didn't have to smile for his poses, just look sultry. Or if not that, then generic thoughtfully sexy. The first year they'd done the Puddlemere semi-nude calendar it was genuinely fun. On year three, not so much.
"Just turn 'round—"
"No," Oliver said firmly.
"Why?" the photographer asked. "Nothing to be ashamed… oh."
Oliver let the man look at the scar on his left buttock for a long thirty seconds before turning back around.
"How did you…?"
"I'll never tell. Whatever you're imagining is probably far more interesting, anyway."
All Oliver knew was that he was never letting a living soul know that he'd fallen down some stairs at a Celestina Warbeck concert, the event now marked permanently on his arse.
