So I went first thing this morning, and… there was an announcement after about 25 minutes. Their network printers were down. They didn't know how long it would take for them to be fixed, and they couldn't issue any new licenses due to that.

So I'm going back again tomorrow morning, my third attempt to switch out my Oregon driver's license for a Virginia one. Thankfully they wrote "priority" on my form so I'll get to go to the head of the line. Augh.

I know! Stupid DMV. I know it's not the employees' fault, but it's very frustrating.

It's been a trial, though not as challenging as in Oregon. It took me a full year to get the kind of documentation that proved I was a resident since I didn't have any utilities in my name, and and I had to take a computer test. Hopefully it will all be resolved tomorrow.

It's rather frustrating! I have a lot going on at work this week so I've decided to wait until next Monday to go back.
