Noted in my search engine bar this morning: "how to hard boil eggs". When I called the paramour yesterday right before the poetry reading I attended last night, he said he was making dinner of eggs and toast. I assumed scrambled eggs. This lets me know otherwise. We all have to learn these basics at some point, I suppose!

lmao! Too funny.

I steamed asparagus last night and Chris stared at it very confused and said, "Which end am I supposed to eat?" He'd never eaten nor seen it before. *facepalms*

That's funny! But hey- if you've never seen asparagus before, you'd have to ask the question he did. :)

AHAHAHAHA! yes, baby steps in the cooking directions. Although I didn't learn how to boil an egg until my mid-to-late twenties. BUT, i've known how to scramble and egg since I was about 10. :D

We all have to find out how to do stuff through somebody else… or a cookbook. There's a definite lack of those around here!

I'm 61 and have been cooking for most of that time. I still look up boiling eggs occasionally because I only do it 2 or 3 times a year and I can never remember just how long to boil them to just get them cooked hard clear through and yet not to leave them on a minute longer than necessary. I'm beginning to think I'll have the number of minutes tatooed on my hand the next time I get it perfect.

That would certainly be one way never to forget! ;)
