... and two other awards, these for HP fics

Evidently this is Make Thevina Feel Like A Superstar Author weekend.
I had a bit of a heads up about this, but in addition to doing well at the Wraeththu challenge, I also have two of my slightly older HP stories that are featured stories at The Quidditch Pitch. I can't link directly to them at TQP as they're both adult and you need to be logged in, but I'll post the beautiful banners I was sent. Thank you to the kind soul(s) who made them for me!

Link to the story on my LJ is here. This was my '06 Xmas exchange fic, so it's not new, and probably read by most folks here.
Pairings: Harry/Ron
Summary: Harry and Ron meet up for their annual post-War sojourn, but this year is quite different from the prior few, and it's not just because they've gone to Iceland.
Warnings: None
Word Count: 9,819

Link to the story on my LJ is here. I suspect most of you who are here for my HP fic have read it, written two years ago for the inaugural triatha ron challenge, now sadly defunct.
Pairings/Characters: Bill/Ron, Ron/Harry
Warnings: Incest; AU (post-War); Angst
Length: 10,700
Summary: Qua cursum ventus: the course lies as the wind blows. In a post-apocalyptic, post-War world, Ron and Bill are survivors, hidden in the Burrow. When Harry unexpectedly appears, the winds of change prove devastating.

So... really I have no excuse not to be writing on the stories I should be. I'm just tired, but that's no excuse. ;)

Hey, congrats!

Thank you! I'm going to make that the impetus to finish this one HP and hopefully write one of two remaining major scenes in M+M. Then I can treat myself to more of Australia's Make Me A Supermodel, lol. Ah, my guilty pleasures. ;)

See and you thought that Strife didn't really have a good following cause it was dark...it's an excellent fic, my dearest, and this proves it. Congrats.

Thank you, sweetie! Wolfie loved it, too, and he's the one who listed it as a fave. (((hugs back)))

BTW- I have a new fan of MI! She reminds me some of you and Mo; I let her know about the book version, but mostly she's been so kind about sending reviews for each story along the way, much as you did. ♥ ♥

Forgive me for dropping into this convo. I'm assuming MI is Magic Immunity, and if so, there's a book version??? Could you direct me to that if you don't mind?

Also, high fives you for the awards. I agree, Strife was amazing. I still have lingering feelings when I saw the title.

Yes, I went to Lulu and self-published a book version of both Magic Immunity and Crown of Rope combined, featuring the cover art of the R/D picture in this icon that the beautiful [livejournal.com profile] stuckinsea had commissioned for me. I keep the book private as, well, it's fanfic, but if you wanted one, I could make it public for a couple of days to let you order one. If that's the case, just send me an email (thevina33 at gmail dot com) and I'll make it public and send you the link. :)

I'm so thrilled that you liked Strife! I have new insights into my current R/D, and hope that you'll enjoy it once it's out in the public this summer.

Hmm. I seem to remember someone lamenting a little that "Strife" didn't have a large following because of the darkness and angst. :pokes you:

I'm just happy to see that others are celebrating your work just like Hannah and I have. You are an astonishing writer, Thev, and it makes my heart glad that it's being properly recognized.

Thank you, dear. It's true, "Strife" does have its following, for my fellow angst-bunnies, in this case, Wolfie. ;) It does make me feel better about my writing, though now I also want to set the bar even higher for myself. :P

Your icon= win!!
