Drabble requests: feeling the urge again

I'm going through a bit of England withdrawal. Okay, a lot of England withdrawal. I had such a wonderful time visiting with [livejournal.com profile] callumjames and [livejournal.com profile] matildabishop and while I'm very much looking forward to my Mt. Tabor walk with [livejournal.com profile] evannichols in an hour, I think I'd like an additional distraction for the evening. So the first six people who request a drabble, I'm all yours! My fandoms are Harry Potter, Swordspoint/The Fall of the Kings, Wraeththu, Tolkien, and The Persian Boy. Well, let me scratch the Persian Boy since I have it as a book on tape, converted to CDs, but I don't actually have the book. So HP, Swordspoint/FotK, Wraeththu, and JRRT. I'm a slash writer as you all know, so toss me some pairings and a key word to run with.

*g*

By the way, I managed to bring winter with me! It's only 45° here today!

Oooh!

Swordspoint: Richard/Alec, tart
or
Harry Potter: Ron/Remus, slip

[identity profile] thrihyrne.livejournal.com 2008-10-25 01:22 am (UTC)(link)
Yay! Swordspoint! I really need to make myself a Swordspoint icon. :P

Alec lounged in a chair, limbs unfurled, his ankles crossed and resting on a trunk serving as a makeshift ottoman. In his hand was a green apple which he was eating, noisily, while Richard tried to tune him out as he practised with his sword. The trouble was that Alec in repose made Richard think of sex; even something as innocent as crunching on a tart apple made him stiffen a bit in his trousers. He wrenched his thoughts away, pouring his energies into his movements.

"I know what you're thinking," Alec drawled.

Richard put down his sword.

"Prove it."

Mmm, delicious! Thank you, hon!

I've no idea about this fandom, but this is wonderfully vivid as well. My only issue with this is...of course - me being me...

"I know what you're thinking," Alec drawled...

"Prove it."

I want to watch him prove it :D

[identity profile] thrihyrne.livejournal.com 2008-10-25 03:15 pm (UTC)(link)
So glad you enjoyed! Ellen Kushner isn't very explicit in her work, but like you, I'd also like to watch him prove it. Maybe later today, I'll write a follow up... ;)

:D No pressure though.

I'm so in the mood for an Eowyn drabble, please? For me? *hugs and offers chocolate chip cookie*

[identity profile] cim-halfling.livejournal.com 2008-10-24 09:50 pm (UTC)(link)
whoops, I didn't read it all the way through. SO, since you want a pairing, how about Eomer/Faramir, silvan

There, the gauntlet has been thrown! bwahahahahaha!

[identity profile] thrihyrne.livejournal.com 2008-10-25 12:32 am (UTC)(link)
Too late! You get an Éowyn drabble, lol.

Éowyn was bereft, and loathed herself for it. The Houses of Healing were as much a cage as Meduseld had ever been; she felt trapped, rendered useless and having to endure Meriadoc's surreptitious glances as he got to know her as herself, not Dernhelm. Did he feel betrayed by her prior actions? That certainly hadn't been her intent. At the sound of the door creaking open, she turned to see the stalwart hobbit enter the garden. He walked over to her, a smile drifting to his lips. All at once Éowyn felt forgiven; she smiled back, a gesture of peace.

Another triumph. And yeah, three Middle Earth one HP ( or at least as I've read so far. I read from the bottom up )

Oh hon, that was beautiful! DAMN it woman, you write so well. *HUGS*

Okay...how about Curufin/Celegorm. They did spend a lot of quality time together. ;)

[identity profile] thrihyrne.livejournal.com 2008-10-25 01:34 am (UTC)(link)
Ack! I'm not a first-age writer, for the most part. Do you mind offering up another option, either second or third age? Sorry to have to backpedal, but unlike you and some others on my flist, I'm not much of an Elf-centric writer unless it has to do with Dwarves.

[identity profile] jaiden-s.livejournal.com 2008-10-25 03:13 am (UTC)(link)
Really? Huh. Okay, that's fine. For some reason, I pictured you as a first age geek like me. ;)

How about a bitchy Bagoas, then?

Oops. Nevermind. Uhhh...I dunno. What about Celeborn/Aragorn, then? Fiesty is good.

[identity profile] thrihyrne.livejournal.com 2008-10-25 04:57 am (UTC)(link)
I wish I were a first age geek! I've tended toward the second and third age, but mostly Rohirric and Dwarvish things. There aren't many of us who love the Dwarves, but I'm one of them.

For you: I now have Celeborn/Aragorn, something I've never, ever even contemplated. Hope you enjoy! Oh, and this is adult. ;) And Uialdil I found via a Google search; it's a mixed Sindarin/Quenya form meaning 'Lover of twilight.'

"We could be caught," Celeborn hissed, though he didn't halt Aragorn as he unlaced his breeches, kneeling in front of him, the stubble on his face providing a delicious friction against Celeborn's freed cock.

"But we won't," Aragorn murmured, his rough fingers taking Celeborn's erection in hand. He paused, looking up at the Elf, a wicked, prurient smile settling on his lips. "You'd sense her. And she's busy."

Celeborn sighed, content for Aragorn to do unspeakable things to him. Things only another male could understand, and he was right. Galadriel was otherwise occupied. He cupped Aragorn's jaw.

"Get busy, Uialdil."

drabbles

[identity profile] koshweasley.livejournal.com 2008-10-25 01:57 pm (UTC)(link)
This is... hot excellent! The images are very vivid, in my mind at least. I was thinking the first time I watched the Fellowship that the two went well together.

Re: drabbles

[identity profile] thrihyrne.livejournal.com 2008-10-25 03:17 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm thrilled you liked this one, as well! I'm in very unfamiliar territory when writing Tolkien slash, I must admit. :P

LOL!! I love it!

Actually, I've never contemplated that pairing before either, but I figured...why not? Seemed like a good time to be creative. ;)

Thanks!

withdrawls

[identity profile] koshweasley.livejournal.com 2008-10-24 11:46 pm (UTC)(link)
ME ME ME ME ME ME :D

And as I loved the last one you did for me ( there isn't a 30 day rule is there? )

Tolkein :D Perhaps Gimli on the way to Rivendell before the fellowship. What did they do on that long journey?

{ { { hugs } } }

I'm so glad you had a good time.

Re: withdrawls

[identity profile] thrihyrne.livejournal.com 2008-10-25 02:10 am (UTC)(link)
No rules, luv! Just a drabble for you. Per your request, this is Gimli-centric, on their way to Rivendell.

I did have a wonderful time; re-acclimating has been a bit rough, but I'll settle in soon. So here's your drabble!

Gimli washed out the skillet they'd used to prepare their simple meal, returning to the fire where his few companions were spending the night. He handed it to Orin, who grunted in response. He fished through his vest to find his small flask of zhîkomir, patted it, and went to retrieve his bedroll. As he laid out his paltry bed under the swath of stars, Gimli thought about this trip, the supposed wonders of Rivendell, and his father's health. It was all quite unsettling, though Gimli had become used to such feelings. Even so, he wore his helmet to sleep.

Excellent! :D

Am I a geek for wanting to know more about their everyday trapsing? You do, do this verse so well. Thanks for another shot of Middle Earth.

Re: withdrawls

[identity profile] thrihyrne.livejournal.com 2008-10-25 03:19 pm (UTC)(link)
So happy to oblige. I love Gimli, as you know, and thinking about what they went through on their way to Rivendell was something new and different! Thank you for suggesting it.

You kill me.

BUT I WROTE IT ANYWAY.

There was something about speaking in Parseltongue; the words tumbled and rolled in Harry's mouth like incense, heavy with an unexpected sensuality to do with all of the sibilants as he spoke to the basilisk. Harry's own animagus form rendered him on par with the vast snake; he slithered and coiled around the creature, the feel of cool scales stoking the heat of his desire. There was no-one to whom he could confide this transgression, but in the moment, he had no desire to share with anyone. Serpentine bodies intertwined, Harry surrendered himself, curling next to his enigmatic lover.

And Harry's Animagus form is a snake - awesome idea! And I always knew Harry was a size queen :D

Yay, cool, I think I counted five... HP please, obviously, but as this is England withdrawal therapy, let's put Draco in the cellars under Uppark House with any other character of your choosing! All the things that could go on down there eh? ;-)

Your beta on the way shortly...

Hmmmm... I'll have to take some time with yours. Only 100 words, though, so I don't know how naughty I can be, but I'll try!

Got your beta; thank you ever so much. :::deep smooches:::
