For those of you my age and perhaps a bit older, there was a song in the late 70s/early 80s that I think must have had the title "Eileen." Searching for the other snippets of lyrics that I remember ([something about lips] someone will be kissin' them— [something something] this burnin' desire... (chorus) Eileen... here we go again...) only gives me damn Dexy's Midnight Runners' "Come On Eileen." That's not it. This song is older than that. I don't think it was as popular, but it was on the radio a fair amount at the time. I'd put the genre as rock. I could sing parts of it to you and explain some of the riff at the end, but I can't find it. AUGH! If anybody has any idea of what song I'm talking about, please put me out of my misery.Edit:
evilauntiesnape has done it. It's "Ah! Leah!" by Donnie Iris. No wonder I couldn't find it, but I'm so glad she knew it!! I'm so relieved.
Thanks!
And squee upon squee, I think that
pghpatronus is going to be my valiant knight/marauder and come get me so that I can see OotP with the Fellowship of Most Excellent Fanbois this weekend. :D :D :D :D
The oddity, though pleasant: I received a second review for Strange-Eyed Constellation at skyehawke. The person asked if the vampire and werewolf book series that Seamus is reading aloud to Dean, "Fang and Fury," was a real series. And if so, where could she find it? I only mentioned it a couple of times in the story, but apparently it made a favourable impression on one reader! I now think I've figured out what to write for original fiction. A vampire and werewolf doomed love and hot erotica series. Hmmmmmmm.

I know! Why didn't I think of this sooner? I had some quality time with my stepdad in the car today, and now I have an epilogue for Strange-Eyed Constellation, whenever it gets finished...

That's intriguing. Well, much food for thought, eh?! I'll need to go to the PR website and look at the downloads. I'd love to hear some of the talks if they're available. Thank you for the heads up!

Fang and Fury
And then you should let me beta read it, so I can read it first before anybody.
:P
Re: Fang and Fury
You should write this.
And then you should let me beta read it, so I can read it first before anybody.
I think that I shall do that very thing!!! :D :D :D Both things, that is. I've been missing your beta'ing, as I think other people are too easy on me. ;)
