prompt-guided fic: The Test of the Heart is Trouble | Seamus/Fred

Last night around 12:30 a.m. I posted about feeling as though I was in a rut, writing-wise; same pairings, same situations, rhubarb, rhubarb. So I asked for four people to send me pairings/situations/ambiance/lyrics prompts, and received four lyrics-driven prompts, all HP (I do still write Tolkien, even though not much of late).

risiepookie's jumped at me first, so here 'tis. Her pairing request was Dean/Ron, but since I'm writing an ever-growing fic with that pairing thanks to her prompt, I opted for her suggestion #2: Fred/Seamus. But then her prompt suggestion was "Missing" by Evanescence, lyrics here. o_O I love challenges like that! So, here's the fic. And while it's Seamus/Fred, I think it mostly turned into a small lovefest about Dean's character. Whoops.
