Inception question

Apparently there's already some Inception slash out there. I've not seen the movie— I'd like to see it, but it's not showing here in the 'burg. Can anyone on my flist whose seen this tell me who the main pairing is? somebody/Eames, I believe? And while there were homoerotic overtones in the film (I believe) there wasn't anything explicit, right? How would you summarize the orientation for those two characters?

Oh, it's Arthur/Eames, hands down. :)

Unfortunately I've seen the movie in German, so most of the slashy dialogue is actually lost to me, but they were always kind of dissing each other, Eames telling Arthur once, "Dare to dream a bit bigger, darling," and pulling out a much bigger gun than Arthur.

There isn't explicit, no. But the vibes around them both were constantly of tension and being all manly man on prowl (Eames) vs. sharp dressed beau.

Interesting for fandom is probably amongst the obvious, that there has to be some kind of story between them before. The protagonist (DiCaprio) gathers his best men for a last job, and Arthur is all, "Wtf, you want Eames, who is gambling/hiding in Mombasa?" And they meet each other and clash and clash and clash against each other.

Apart from that: the movie is really fun and spiffy. If you're interested in that kind of thing: watch it! :)

(There are other pairings as well, of course. Cobb/Saito, for example. Cobb searches in very dark plains of his own dreams for Saito, who tells him then: "I'll come back and we'll be young men together again." If that's not slashy, I seriously don't know. *g*)

Arthur/Eames. Excellent! It's sounding kind of like a Ron/Draco dynamic, of being at each other's throats and the underlying tension thereof.

I do hope it comes to my wee college town!
