I talked with [livejournal.com profile] two_point!!!

:D :D :D :D :D ♥

I feel like a rock star. It's the first time we've actually talked, and while it couldn't be a long conversation since it wasn't a weekend, I'm so thrilled to have had a conversation at all. I love fandom friends.

That's all, lol.

We're going to take over the whole stinking world.

And I'll get to talk to your properly on Sunday. I swear.

<3 !!!

You have a lovely voice.

*snicker* (about doing great phone, lol)
I'm going to have at least one more NY visit before heading back out to the northwest, so we'll get together again! Hopefully for more than 2 hours!! ♥

You know we will!! And very much looking forward to a longer talk when there are no time constraints. :)

You're kind about my voice! I think I kept expecting to hear a German accent since everyone else I know who writes Weiss Kreutz is German. ;) I'm thrilled beyond measure that you live relatively close. *g*

Us WK freaks are masters at bad, fangirl German.

Actually, I'm afraid to even pronounce the name of the fandom. And some of the characters.

I want to learn Russian.

[identity profile] thrihyrne.livejournal.com 2010-05-12 03:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Did I ever tell you I studied Russian for 3 years in college and spent a month in the then-USSR? I've checked out a beginner refresher course for myself, but keep getting sidetracked…

[identity profile] two-point.livejournal.com 2010-05-12 05:43 pm (UTC)(link)
No you did not! But you show much more sense than me because I studied Russian for no years in college and then spent a month in what was suddenly no longer the USSR and it was pretty mind blowing. The majority of the trip was focused around St. Petersburg but I took the night train to Moscow and was there for about a week. Where did you go?

[identity profile] thrihyrne.livejournal.com 2010-05-12 08:47 pm (UTC)(link)
I was in a town called Vladimir, about 3 hours east of Moscow. It was through a program at the University of Southern Illinois. We did spend two days and one night in Moscow, but primarily we were in Vladimir. Interesting times, to be sure!! And wow, really no icon for that, lol. So here's a redhead!

Oooh! Lucky you. I adore Two-point.

OOT--I owe you some remarks on your latest post of your original fic. Still liking it very much. Fascinating world. I'd like to say I knew it would be, but actually was a little surprised. I knew your writing was great, but world-building is a whole other ball game.

[identity profile] thrihyrne.livejournal.com 2010-05-11 03:39 am (UTC)(link)
Isn't she amazing??!

I'll look forward to comments whenever, but with all candor, that's at your leisure, if at all. I'm going to keep writing regardless, though of course getting a bit of feedback can help me in case I'm going somewhere with it that doesn't make sense. And hell, I didn't know if it was going to work myself! I'm still waiting for characters to tell me what's going to happen and what they're like! :P Good thing that I trust them to communicate.

You know...I kinda felt that way the first time I spoke to you :) Been thinking of you lots and miss you lots. Hope all is well. I'll have to scowl down to check :)

Awwww! I've felt this way each time I spoke with a fan friend for the first time. I get nervous, and wonder what s/he is going to sound like…

I miss you, too! Do scroll through stuff and let's chat this weekend, okay? XOXOX

Sounds good. Saturday may be bad for us as we've got the annual Hooterville lawn sale.

Stay warm :)
