To my dear friend who joined the Lómelindi after I'd left Nashville, but with whom I became friends in the years following and who let me stay with her for a few days as I moved out west: Happy Birthday. You and I have talked a lot about fandom, and writing, and all kinds of other things to do with our lives outside of those passions. Thank you for caring about me and welcoming me into your home this summer. I hope that you have a wonderful day and are celebrated in a way that you enjoy. I'd asked to write something for you; this ended up being a mere drabble, but for you, here's a Charlie/Remus as a wee gift.

"I've missed this," Remus sighed, easing onto his back on the wooden plank in the sauna.

"I've missed you," Charlie said pointedly, using his toes to nudge at the soles of Remus' feet.

Remus snorted; his feet were very ticklish. He luxuriated in the heat, sprawled naked at the Reserve sauna, his gaze flickering to Charlie's dragon tattoo to look for hints as to his lover's thoughts. The dragon sat demurely; Charlie rested and sweated, eyes closed. Seduction would come later, evidently.

"Happy birthday," Charlie murmured.

Remus, surprised, rose on his elbows. "How'd you know?"

Charlie smirked. "I'll never tell."

Yes! you did it. A Charlie Remus fic with lots of potential yet to come. Maybe this will entice you to another pairing. Not that you don't already have enough pairings.

This is just delightful, I especially love the who toe/foot thing, that's just so sweet yet strangely indicitive of better things to come.

So glad that you enjoyed the drabble. As for another pairing, AIGH! NO! I have so much to write as it is; my ankles are raw from the plot bunnies having their way with me. ;)

I'm glad to have been part of a several-days' celebration for you. Personally, I think one should celebrate for the whole week!!
