I know how you feel. I am surrounded by doctors and profs at work but I haven't got a PhD either. I don't know if I could have, but at the time I should have been going for it, I was, like Bertie Wooster, full up with education and wanted to do something else, not to mention earn a living.

And hey, we can still write readable stuff with the ideas and commas in the right place, so who cares!
