It's been some time since I saw that movie, but I do recall Hopkins being [as usual] superb in the role. There were a number of memorable scenes, but one that stands out in my memory is where he was newly arrived in America and was test driving a car, which he needed to haul his motorcycle to Nevada for the speed test. Being from the land down under, he was accustomed to driving on the other side of the road, which scared the living daylights out of the used car salesman. Finally the salesman told him [rough quote]. 'Just remember that the driver is always at the center of the road and you'll be okay.' It's pretty good advice. :-)
