Well, we'll see. Emma is more of a rabid reader than Sam, but neither is opposed to reading, to be sure. I don't know that they'll ever get into my stuff, tho' perhaps Emma will read the twinfic. I doubt that she will ever get into Tolkien, but who knows- aside from The Hobbit, I hadn't read any Tolkien until the movie came out. Hard to believe it's only been two years and some that Tolkien's been in my life. At our "butt numb a thon" today, almost everybody else had grown up with the Lord of the Rings trilogy. I feel like an over-self-educated child, sometimes.
Sam hasn't even read "Another Mother's Son" which I wrote for him- I told him he couldn't until he read "The Hobbit," which I bought in lovely limited edition green (p)leather for him for Christmas last year. It could be a long wait. :P
