I'm not surprised that you're dreaming about houses/homes. On the whole, certainly in Jungian interpretation of dreams, you would expect a house/home to represent the whole self of the dreamer: the state of the house and what is happening to it being relevant too... rennovating/restoring sounds like lots of changes - hard work but changes for the better... just a thought!
