That's right! She did send those to you, didn't she? Yay!! You and I can squee about them!! That's great. I, too, wonder how I've gone through life having missed so many books. Like Tolkien. Aside from The Hobbit, which I read in 7th grade apparently, I didn't read any Tolkien until the Peter Jackson movies came out. Being a sci fi and fantasy reader, I don't know how I managed that.

Slave Breakers is wonderful. It's pretty much the only place where I feel comfortable writing romantic stuff without angst. ;)

So… I'll be squeeing and discussing with you! I finished "Brotherhood" last night and got so mad at the protagonist and the author. Not that he acted out of character, but I wanted a different ending. I may need to write something for Kenaz's yuletide request as well!! Not another fandom... :sigh:
