Yuck. Well, I'll probably just go ahead and make sure my dates and flights are all corresponding and bite the bullet. I can always make more money, but this opportunity is quite unique.

I do feel a bit more comfortable, though I've still had to force myself not to obsess at various points through the weekend. Doubtless that will go away in time. And my bed! It was such a joy to crawl into last night. :D
