Sorry!! I just couldn't let him be there to pamper Vaysh for five years; he became a 'red shirt' as soon as I realized his impact would be too strong on Vaysh. I needed Vaysh to act canonically and believably more than I could keep Feslavit. :sniff:
So glad that you enjoyed the part in Olopade! That was one of the hardest to write; I felt that I really had to write it to elaborate on canon that we all know, but I didn't feel inspired by it. I'm terribly relieved that other people are finding it a worthy contribution to the story arc.
Next post: Pellaz! But not conscious. ;) And I will say, this is now really, really hard, because I'm fully engaged in canon now, but the last thing I want to do is write scenes we all know, just from Vaysh's POV. So I'm having to be creative. I don't want to be quoting dialogue left, right and center; how boring for the reader who already knows those conversations, y'know?
