Thank you very much for your kind words about the writing itself; Storm's style, so lush and rich and decadent is very fertile ground. I'm thrilled that you feel I've emulated it well. Cal is so many people's favorite character; he was a bit intimidating, because I wanted to do him justice. Thankfully I had Swift's not-quite-hero worship to assist.
