...I'm not a very good cook, unless you like tomato soup and grilled cheese sandwiches. Mine are excellent. ;)

That's comfort food. :-D Mom would make that for my lunch when I was little and all my brothers and sisters were in school. It was just Mom and me at home.
...somebody else asked to archive one of my stories...

Congratulations! That is such a nice feeling, so go ahead and revel in it. I've always said that's one of the hardest things about being a writer. We labor in solitude, not knowing if we labor in vain - not until we get some kind of response from readers. And positive responses are much more pleasant.

BTW if I haven't already said so, I think you've done a fine job with this series of vignettes. I haven't checked it out at HASA recently - I've been following along here most of the time. I was going to suggest, if you haven't already done so, that you add a forward, or perhaps a brief explanation in the Author's Notes, as not everyone may be familiar with what the Hours are, or why each of these vignettes is applicable. IMO it wouldn't hurt to have something like that in place before submitting this for review so reviewers will have a clear understanding of the common thread that ties these together.

Of course if you've already done this, just ignore me - except for the part where I applaud. ;-)
