I've used Hermione before with plot devices, but I tend to simply let her be off-screen. Maybe she is in an obscure part of Europe fighting for House Elf rights!

Gush away— it makes me, as a writer, quite enthused that you felt so excited about the fic! Ron/Draco has been my longest-lived OTP, for many years, and I'm gratified that you've been enjoying these stories. Ron/Draco got under my skin and they've really never left. :happy sigh:
