I SO regret getting behind in commenting on this story. With OotP movie and DH and all the real life in between, I've got behind in things, but this is one story that I rushed and clicked on as soon as I saw it.
When you started this story, I knew I would like it, because it's you, but I couldn't fathom how I was going to really 'buy' S/D/F believing that S/D go so well together as is.
Of course, you did it. You managed to make each of these men so real and deep and complex. Each with their own set of insecurities and desires, but they are each such good people that each has the desire, in their own way, to be comforting and nurturing to something in the world and they find that with each other.
So often in fic, we see characters fall in love and then have hot sex. Which is lovely. But you very cleverly gave these characters the primal desires to have the sex (and not have them come across as lecherous cretins, but as healthy, virile males) which helped break down barriers for them to make the emotional connections they each needed.
It's been a fascinating read, I've really enjoyed it. And the image of Dean astride Seamus, with Fred taking Seamus at the edge of the bed will not soon be leaving my subconscious. ;) Veeerrry nice!
