I loved They had a mission in the morning, the details and coordinates seared into Harry's mind. Now was all that he had, precious hours to sort through the rubble of his fiery saviour, to mend the gaping, marrow-deep wounds. because it makes things both urgent and poetic and shows the mental and physical damages done by war, all in two lines.
And just beautiful images – the kisses like dandelion wisps, and the grass snake comparison in particular (even more perfect coming from Harry, that!). The sex as a whole was perfect.
Somehow I had the impression that it was more being needed by Harry than sex per se that mattered for Ron's return, but the combination of both was amazing to watch played out here.
